I used this painting to experiment with masking fluid. You paint it on, let it dry, then paint your painting. Then you rub off the masking fluid to reveal the white paper. I decided I prefer to just paint around white space if I want it to be there. It's easier to control the width of the line that way, and easier to see what is really going on with the painting while it is in progress. Gouache, 4" x 6"
I am an artist living and working in Minneapolis, MN. I studied illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I do a little freelance illustration and also sell my work from my studio and at art fairs. I work part time as a graphic designer as well.
